Master of Population Studies | All applicants need to possess a Master’s degree from a recognized university scoring not less than 55% of marks or equivalent grade in Statistics, Geography, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work and Anthropology. |

Preference shall be given to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Math/Stat/Eco or any social science subject. |

Admission Criteria:
Applicants applying for all post graduation programmes mentioned above will be selected on the grounds of various common entrance examinations and subsequent personal interviews. In case applying for Ph.D, candidates will be selected through a different entrance exam on Research and Methodology and personal Interview. Candidates seeking for Post Doctoral Fellowship will be selected by submission of comprehensive research proposal and Interview.

Application Method:
Interested aspirants can obtain the prescribed application form and information brochure from the below mentioned address personally or by post on sending a self addressed Rs.50/- stamped envelope (25cm x 12cm) on or before 30th May, 2014. However, the same can also be downloaded directly from its authorized web portal- iipsindia.org . Once obtained, this application form must be filled up appropriately with all genuine details. The completed application form along with all relevant enclosures and a non-refundable intimation fee worth INR.500/- (no fee for SC/ST and PH candidates) through a Demand Draft, drawn from any nationalized Bank favoring the “Director, IIPS, Mumbai” should reach this address within or on the respective last dates:-
