IIIT Hyderabad Admission Form 2014

Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is a Government university situated in district of Medak, Andhra Pradesh, India. IIT Hyderabad sprints from a provisional campus placed in Yeddumailaram at Ordnance Factory Medak’s estate, while its permanent campus is at Kandi which is under construction. Its 01 of the 08 new IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) set up by the Human Resource Development Ministry, Indian Government under The IIT Amendment Act, 2011 which announces these 08 Indian Institutes of Technology and the conversion of Institute of Technology as well, BHU to IIT. The Lok Sabha approved this act on 24^th of March 2011 & the Rajya Sabha approved this act on 30^th of April 2012.

Eligibility:

For PGSSP Course:

Candidates should possess Graduation or PG degree of Engineering, Masters of Computer Application, or a PG degree in Mathematics / Science with minimum of 01 year experience in software design & development.

For UG Course:

JEE – Candidates should be qualified JEE (Main exam) – 2014 & must separately register for IIIT-Hyderabad counseling. Admissions are made based on JEE (Main) scores.

DASA – Students must have studied their Class 11^th & 12^th or equivalent Class abroad OR should hold foreign passport. Additionally, at least 2000 SAT subject score (Chemistry + Physics + Mathematics II) [SAT-II]

Dates of Undergraduate Admissions: From 16^th of May to 27^th of June

Date of Postgraduate Student Status Programme (PGSSP): From 2^nd June to 10^th July
