ICFAI Exam Pattern 2014 for Management and Engineering Courses
The ICFAI Group of Universities in Hyderabad announces admissions every year in its engineering and management courses through entrance exams mostly held in the months of December/ January for all the candidates. The candidates who wish to take admissions in the concerned university programmes can participate in the entrance exams of the university provided they are eligible for it.

Exam Pattern for ICFAI Admissions:
1. For Engineering Courses:
The entrance exam for the engineering courses including BE/ B.Tech respectively. The exam is conducted by the ICFAI Institute of Science and Technology. The name of the entrance exam is ATIT, held mostly in the months of May for all the eligible candidates.
Paper Pattern:
There will be an objective type question paper having multiple choice questions on the following main topics:
Chemistry (60 Questions)
Physics (60 Questions) and
Mathematics (60 Questions)
Duration of Exam: 2 hours
Timing of Exam: 10:00 am to 01:00 pm
Reporting Time: 09:00 pm
The candidates should choose the correct answer from the available multiple options. A deduction of one-fourth marks/ question will be done for all the wrong answers attempted by the candidates. The candidates will be required to answer the questions in the OMR Sheets as provided for this purpose so, if they are not sure, they should not mark the answers.
2. For Management Courses
The candidates can avail admissions under the management courses of the ICFAI University through an entrance exam conducted for all the eligible candidates mostly in December/ January. The name of the entrance exam is ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT).
Paper Pattern:
There will an objective type question paper having multiple choice questions on the following topics:
Verbal Ability
Reading Comprehension
Quantitative Aptitude
Data Adequacy and
Data Interpretation respectively
Total Number of Questions: 125
Duration of Exam: 2 hours
Marking Scheme:
For each correct answer, the candidates will be given 1 marks and no deduction will be made for the incorrect answers.
Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should be Intermediate /Class 12th passed in the PCM Group for getting admissions in the BE/ B.Tech programmes whereas Graduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks for getting admissions in the MBA/ PGDM courses respectively.
