ICET Exam 2014 Details of Eligibility, Paper Pattern and Qualifying Criteria

The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is the qualifying entrance exam held for the selection of eligible candidates in the Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications courses under different universities of the Andhra Pradesh state. The exam is held every year in the months of May through paper pencil modes at the different examination centres throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh. Eligibility for Exam:

For MBA Course: The candidates should have completed bachelor degree in any stream of a minimum of three years duration and the minimum marks for qualifying in the concerned exam should be 50% for all of them. A minimum of 5% relaxation shall be granted to the reserved category candidates.

For MCA Course: The candidates should be graduate from any discipline with minimum percentage of marks being 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) to be obtained in the qualifying exam. The candidates should have studied Mathematics at the Intermediate level.

Exam Pattern:

There shall be objective type multiple choice based questions on the following three sections:

Section I: Analytical Ability (75 Questions)

Section II: Mathematical Ability (75 Questions) and

Section III: Communication Ability (50 Questions)

Total Number of Questions: 200

Total Time Allotted: 150 Minutes
