Himachal University Distance Education

The Himachal University Distance Education is also known as ICDEOL (International Centre for Distance Education & Open Learning) is a leading research and teaching institution of India which is located at Shimla city’s suburb, Summer Hill at 05 kilometers distance from the main city. The University was set up by the Act of the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh state in the year 1970. The University is having rich lush green land of 200 acres which gives a scenic view of its idiosyncratic architectural technique. The main financers for the making of University were UGC (University Grants Commission) and the Himachal Pradesh Government.
