Most Essential Requirement:

The applicant must clear the GATE-2013 in concerned disciplines in the first attempt. The details of the GATE-2013 can be obtained from the website of IITB at http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2013/

Minimum Academic Requirements:

•For ET-Mechanical: A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/ Production and Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical and Automobile Engineering with 65% min. marks
•For ET-Electrical: A Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with 65% min. marks
•For ET-Instrumentation: A Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation & Control/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation Engineering with 65% min. marks
•For ET-Chemical: A Bachelors Degree in Petrochemical or Chemical Engineering/ Technology with 65% min. marks

Essential Criteria for Age:

All interested applicants should not have crossed a max age of 28 years as on 1st of January 2013 to be eligible for applying for these vacancies. However, there will be relaxation applicable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Tribe and those belonging to PWD as per the rules.

Benefits, Perks and Emoluments:

All applicants who will be selected for the positions will receive emoluments in the range of INR 24900 – INR 50500 in the E2 grade. The applicants will be under probation for a period of One Year and on successful completion they will be inducted in the same grade as permanent employee. Other benefits such as PRP will be there as applicable.
