ENAT Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme

ENAT stands for the EPSI National Admission Test. The entrance exam is held for admissions of all the eligible candidates in the engineering courses of the Manipal University. The exam is organized every year in the months of April/ May respectively. The Manipal Institute of Technology is one of the leading private universities of open and distance learning in India. ENAT 2014 Paper Pattern:

There will be two sections in the EPSI National Admission Test based on the following pattern:

Section I: Contains objective type questions on the following:

Physics- 60 Questions

Chemistry- 60 Questions and

Mathematics- 80 Questions

Section II: Contains objective type questions on the following:

General English- 60 Questions

Syllabus of Exam:

Intermediate/ Class 12^th level questions from the concerned Board from which candidates has passed his/ her qualifying exam will be considered as the syllabus of study for the concerned entrance exam.

Exam Pattern:

The test will be conducted in the computer modes only. The questions will be asked in English only hence, non- English students might find it difficult to answer them. There will be multiple choice based questions from the above stated subjects to be answered in the given time frame. The test will be organized in three sessions on every test day.

Duration of Exam: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Marking Scheme:

The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer attempted by them whereas there will be no deduction of marks for any of the wrong attempts made by the candidates.

Total Marks Allotted: 240

Distribution of Questions:

Physics: 60 Questions

Chemistry: 60 Questions

Biology: 60 Questions and

English Language: 40 Questions
