EAMCET Engineering Exam Pattern 2014 Qualifying Criteria and Eligibility Pattern
The Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is the qualifying exam for the admission of candidates in the under graduate engineering courses in the colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh state. The entrance exam is conducted every year by the Jawahar Lal Nehru Technological University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Those candidates who qualify in the concerned entrance exam will be admitted in the Bachelor of Technology/ Bachelor of Engineering course in the participating universities.

Paper Pattern:
The paper pattern for EAMCET 2014 Engineering Entrance consists of 160 questions from the following main topics:
Mathematics: 80 Questions
Physics: 40 Questions
Chemistry: 40 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 160
Total Marks Allotted: 160
Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
Timing of Exam: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Date of Exam: 22nd May 2014
Eligibility for EAMCET 2014:
The applicants must be having a minimum of 60% marks from the Maths Group of subjects which includes the following: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively. The minimum age of all the applicants should be 18 years for appearing in this exam.

Syllabus of Exam:
The candidates should prepare on the basis of Class XI and XII syllabus as per their books as prescribed by the concerned Board of Examination.
Mode of Answering Questions:
Optical Marking Reader Sheets can be used by the candidates for answering questions. The candidates are required to darken the ovals in the correct manner so that there evaluations are done properly. Since, there is no negative marking in the exam hence, the students can take the risk of answering as many number of questions as they feel like.
