DUSET Admission

The University of Delhi, Faculty of Medical Sciences recently invited applications from keen aspirants seeking admissions into the new academic session- 2014 for DM and M.Ch programmes offered at different affiliated institutes, colleges and the main campus through a Delhi University Super-specialty Entrance Test (DU SET) scheduled on 7^th and 8^th June, 2014. This admission notification as well as the link for downloading application form is available on its authorized web portal i.e. fmsc.ac.in from 9^th April, 2014 onwards. Therefore, all keen aspirants are suggested to read the following details carefully and apply within the prescribed last date.

Details of Eligibility:

All applicants should have cleared MBBS final exam with one year of satisfactory rotating internship compulsorily. Apart from this, aspirants must have passed their Master’s exam of MD/MS, from University of Delhi or any other equivalent exam documented by the University of Delhi and Medical Council of India. All applicants must have a valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council/State Medical Council/Medical Council of India in addition.

Application Method:

Aspirants, who accomplish the set criteria of eligibility as per the official notification, may obtain Information Bulletin and application form from the Office of the Deputy Registrar in person, by paying Rs 2500/- through DD or Banker’s Cheque during the office hours on all weekdays except Sunday from 15^th April, 2014 to 10^th May, 2014. However, the same can also be obtained by post by sending a self addressed envelope of 10″ X 8″ to the below mentioned office address within 28^th April, 2014. All payments to the university should be made by a crossed MICR Bank Draft or Banker’s Cheque drawn at any Schedule Bank favoring the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi. Applicants may also download the prescribed application form from the authorized DU web portal and submitting the duly filled application format accompanied with the prescribed fee in the form of a DD within the last date of receipt of applications.

Selection Process:

The selection of eligible aspirants for admittance in the aforesaid programmes will entirely be based on a Delhi University Super-specialty Entrance Test (DU SET) scheduled on 7^th and 8^th June, 2014, Sunday to be held in Delhi. Candidates will be shortlisted entirely on the grounds of their performance in this DUSET. Therefore, applicants who do not qualify or appear in this entrance test would not be entitled for admission.
