DUMET Entrance Exam Pattern 2014 Eligibility and Scheme of Examination
The Delhi University conducts the Medical Entrance Test for all the candidates who wish to apply in different medical and dental courses of the concerned university. The Delhi University Medical Entrance Test is conducted to provide admissions in the MBBS and BDS courses under the Delhi University and the colleges attached with it. The Delhi University conducts the Pre Medical Test/ Delhi University Medical/ Dental Entrance Test at an All India Level for all the qualified candidates seeking admissions in the above courses. The university has recently notified that its Faculty of Medical Sciences will not be conducting the separate entrance exam for admissions to the MBBS/ BDS courses under 85% of quota in the current session i.e. 2014-15. But the admissions in such courses for the 85% of quota will be done on the basis of the AIPMT (All India Pre Medical/ Dental Test) 2014 as conducted by the Central BOARD OF Secondary Education for this purpose.

Eligibility for the DUMET 2014:
The applicants in order to appear for the Delhi University Medical/ Dental Entrance Test must be having the following necessary eligibility for this purpose.
10+2 /Intermediate from any recognized central/ state Boards in India/ from any Delhi Government Schools can appear in this exam. The candidates residing outside Delhi can appear in the exam but admissions shall be done subject to the state quota as prescribed for this purpose.
The minimum ages of all the applicants is preferred to be 17 years in the concerned exam

Exam Scheme for DUMET 2014:
The Delhi University Medical/ Dental Entrance Test will have questions on the following main topics namely: Biology (50 questions), Physics(50 questions), and Chemistry(50 questions). There will be objective type of questions based on multiple choice answers on the following subjects.
Total Number of Questions: 150
Duration of Exam: 180 Minutes
Application Criteria:
The candidates in order to apply for the concerned exam must visit the official website of the university i.e. du.ac.in or go to the concerned university offices to collect your forms by hand. The application forms are released by the university usually in the months of January. The candidates will have to pay Rs.750 (Rs550 for Reserved Category of candidates) as the cost of applications through online modes. The online filled in application forms must reach the office of the concerned university department before March.
The exam is mostly organized in the months of May/June for all the applicants.
