CUCET Exam Pattern 2014 Details for Eligibility and Paper Pattern
The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is conducted by seven central universities for admitting students under different under graduate, post graduate, integrated and research courses respectively. The candidates sitting for the concerned entrance exam will get a chance to get enrolled in the following seven universities. The entrance exam for the current session i.e. 2014-1 is scheduled to be conducted by the University of Rajasthan. Those candidates who are planning to appear in the concerned exam must go through the details of paper pattern and syllabus of study for preparing in the concerned exam from here below.

Exam Pattern:
There will be objective type questions with multiple choice answers from the following main topics:
For Under Graduate and Integrated Courses:
Part A: English and General Awareness (35 Questions)
Part B: Subject Specific Questions (100 Questions)
Distribution of Marks:
Part A: English and General Awareness -35 Marks
Part B: For Non Science:
Economics: 25 Marks
History & Sociology: 25 Marks
Political Science & Geography: 25 Marks and
Accountancy, Business Administration & Entrepreneurship: 25 Marks
For Science:
Physics: 25 Marks
Chemistry: 25 Marks
Biology: 25 Marks and
Mathematics: 25 Marks
Subjects:
Science Group: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology
Non Science Group: Economics, History, Sociology, Geography, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy respectively
The candidates can follow the syllabus of Class 12th for taking admissions to the UG/ Integrated Courses and UG Syllabus for the admissions to PG Courses and NET/ JRF for the admissions to the research programmes respectively.
Selection Criteria:
The applicants should qualify in the written exam with the required merit which will be followed by the interviews/ group discussions as needed for this purpose.
