Paper I (For Classes I to IV) Primary Stage

i) Child Development and Pedagogy (30 questions , 30 marks)- Child Development (Primary School Child), Concept of Inclusive education and understanding Children with special needs, Language and Pedagogy

ii) Language I Compulsory (30 questions , 30 marks)- Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development

iii) Language III Compulsory  (30 questions , 30 marks)- Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development

iv) Mathematics (30 questions , 30 marks)- Geometry, Shapes a Spatial Understanding, Solids around us, Numbers, Additions and Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Measurement, Weight, Time, Volume, Data Handling, Patterns, Money , Pedagogical Issue

v) Environmental Studies (30 questions, 30 marks) – Family and Friends: Relationship, Work and Play, Animals, Plants. Food, Shelter, Water, Travel, Things we make and do , Pedagogical Issues

Paper II (Class VI to VIII) Elementary Stage

i) Child Development and Pedagogy (30 questions , 30 marks)- Child Development (Elementary School Child), Concept of Inclusive education and understanding Children with special needs, Language and Pedagogy

ii) Language I Compulsory (30 questions , 30 marks)- Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development

iii) Language III Compulsory  (30 questions , 30 marks)- Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development

iv) Mathematics and Science (60 questions , 60 marks)-

Mathematics: Number System, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Data Handling, Pedagogical Issues

Science: Food, Materials , The World of the Living, Moving Things People and Ideas, How Thing Works : Electric Currents and Circuits , Natural Phenomena, Natural Resources , Pedagogical Issues

v) Social Studies/ Social Sciences (60 questions , 60 marks)-

History – When , Where and How, Earliest Societies, The First Farmers and Herders, The First Cities, Early States, New Ideas, The First Empire, Contact with Distant Lands, Political Developments, Culture and Sciences, New Kings an Kingdoms, Sultans of Delhi, Architecture, Creation of an Empire Social Change, Regional Culture, The Establishment of Company Power, Rural Life and Society, Colonialism and Tribal Societies , The Revolt of 1857-58, Women and Reform , Challenging the Caste System, The Nationalist movement, India After Independence

Geography–  Geography as a social study and as a science, Planet earth and the solar system, Globe, Environment in its totality, Air, Water, Human Environment, Resources, Agriculture
