CRPF Examination Pattern 2016
CRPF is the short hand term for the Central Reserve Police Force. The organization is governed by the CRPF Act 1949. The aim of the organization is to provide the constitution and regulation of the Armed Central Reserve Police Force. The applicants interested in the jobs under CRPF will have to go through the selection procedure which comprise of Written Examination and Personal Interview.
The process of selection in CRPF for the post of Constable is given in brief below. The applicants interested in giving the examination of CRPF will have to appear through all the process so as to ensure their selection in the organization.
There are total four stages, the applicants will have to go through via (Stage wise) –
1) Physical Standard Test (PST)
2) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3) Written Examination and
4) Medical Examination
Stage I – Physical Standard Test (PST) –
Height – 170 cms (Male) and 157 cms (Female)
Chest – Unexpanded 80 cms for male only
Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per the Medical Standards
Stage II – Physical Efficiency Test (PET) –
Race – 5 Kms in 24 Minutes (Male) and 1. 6 Kms in 8 ½ Minutes (Female)
For Ladakh (Race) – 1 Mile in 6 ½ Minutes (Male) and 800 m in 4 Minutes (Female)
Stage III – Written Examination – The duration of the examination will be 2 hours with total 100 Multiple Choice Questions –
1) General Awareness/ General Knowledge
2) Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics
3) Analytical Aptitude
4) Ability to observe & distinguish patterns
5) Basic knowledge of the candidates in English and Hindi
Stage IV – Medical Examination – After all the above three stages, the fourth stage will comprise of the Medical Examination in which the applicants will have to go through the test of Vision, Refraction, Color Vision, Visual Acuity Unaided, Uncorrected Visual Acuity etc.
