The COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges in state of Karnataka) will be conducting very soon the common entrance exam for selecting eligible candidates in the first year under graduation programmed available in all the above specified discipline in the private aided and unaided colleges of state participating in concerned examination. The COMEDK UG Exam 2015 is expected to be held in the month of May for all the qualified and eligible candidates at various designated centres of examination. Through COMEDK UGET (Under Graduate Entrance Test) applicants shall be provided admissions in 150 engineering, 14 medical and 25 dental institutions participating in the Consortium. Details of COMEDK UGET 2015-

Name of Exam: COMEDK UGET (Under- Graduate Entrance Test)

Conducting Organization: Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges in Karnataka)

Courses of Admission:

1) Medical Courses: MBBS (Pre- Clinical and Para Clinical)

2) Medical Diploma Courses: Diploma Courses

3) Dental Courses: BDS

4) Dental –Diploma

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicants shall have the minimum eligibility in the form of Intermediate /Class 12^th passed for admissions. The minimum %age of marks should be 50% (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying exam for this purpose.

Pattern/ Scheme of Examination:

The candidates shall be tested on a 180 minute paper possessing objective type questions from the core subjects of qualifying examination i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively. The standard of questions shall be of class 10^th to 12^th for the candidates participating in concerned examination. The candidates shall secure one mark for each correct answer marked by them while there will be no negative marking in the exam. Candidates answering less number of negative questions shall be preferred for this recruitment.

Manner of Selection:

The applicants scoring marks in the written test above the cut off marks as fixed for this purpose by colleges participating shall be admitted or selected for admissions.
