CIIL Admission Form 2014- 15
CIIL (Central Institute of Indian Languages) invites applications for admission in the language Training Programme of 10 months to fill the total of 561 seats at the Institute. The programme will bring together people who would like to make a career as specialists in language education and language related research. These people will have diverse backgrounds: teachers, linguists, researchers, tribal and minority language speakers and other graduates who have a demonstrable interest in language. When over 44 years ago, the Central Institute of Indian Languages was set up as an apex body on language matters of the country, its main objective was “to assist in and coordinate the development of Indian languages, to bring about the essential unity of Indian languages through scientific study and inter-linguistic research and to promote the mutual enrichment of the languages and thus contribute towards emotional integration of the people of this country”.

Eligibility Ground:
Teachers serving in Government aided / Government / Government recognized High School (6th to 10th) having 03 years experience in teaching 80% seats are reserved for them.
Lesser-known languages Speakers of smaller communities / tribal languages who are minimum bachelor degree holder 10% seats are reserved for them.
Masters in language or related subjects along with language as one of the main subjects at bachelor’s level 10% Open Seats are reserved for them.
The short listed teachers from Fully Government / Government aided schools will get their remunerations on the basis of Last Pay Certificate forwarded by their Drawing and Disbursing Officers respectively.
Application Manner:
Applicants should forward the completed application form(download from the CIIL website)/hard copy of the applications are also available at RLCs unit of CIIL, Mysore and respective Centers at Mysore, Puna, Bhubaneswar, Patiala, Lucknow, Solan and Guwahati along with enclosures and a crossed Non-refundable DD of Rs.150/- issued in favor of Director, CIIL, payable at Mysore. Applicants should put forward their applications to the Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Manasagangotri, Mysore – 570 006 by an ordinary post. On the cover of the envelope super scribe the “10 months language course” in bold letters.
