Chennai Mathematical Institute Admission Form 2014 Details for Admission and Courses Offered
The Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai has announced the official notification for the admission of eligible candidates in different courses through a common entrance exam held for this purpose on 15th May 2014 for all the Post Graduate and Doctoral Courses respectively. The application for the Chennai Mathematical Institute Admission is issued by the institute in the months of April/ May months respectively. The candidates should apply for the courses of the Institute subject to the eligibility conditions as specified for this purpose.

1. Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Mathematics and Computer Science (3 Year Integrated Course)
2. Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Mathematics and Physics (3 Year Integrated Course)
3. Master of Science in Mathematics
4. Master of Science in Applications of Mathematics
5. Master of Science in Computer Science
6. PhD in Mathematics
7. PhD in Computer Science
8. PhD in Physics respectively
Eligibility for Admissions:
1. The applicants should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed in the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively from any recognized Boards of India for taking admissions in the B.Sc (Hons) courses.
2. The applicants should be graduation passed in the concerned subjects from any recognized university/ college prescribed for this purpose. The admissions for M.Sc Mathematics shall be done on the basis of the following qualifying degrees- B.Sc (Mathematics)/ B. Statistics/ BE/ B.Tech courses respectively.
3. The applicants in order to avail admissions in the PhD courses should have the following qualifying degrees- BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (mathematics)/ M.Sc (Mathematics)/ (Physics) respectively

Application Procedure:
The candidates can avail admission forms from the university website at cmi.ac.in or from the university distribution outlets. The candidates applying for the PhD programmes will be required to appear in the interview which will be held subsequently after the conduct of the entrance exams.
