Central University of Kerala is among the 16 Central Universities set up under the Act of Central University, 2009 (Assembly Act no. – 25 of the year 2009). In the first month of the year 2009, it started working from a transferable campus in Kasaragod’s Vidyanagar, with 02 academic programmes i.e.,

The offices of the Vice Chancellor, Vidyanagar campus houses, Registrar, the School of Languages & Comparative Literature, Finance Officer and Controller of Examinations, and School of Central Library,Global Studies, Computer Centre, Council Meeting Hall, Language Lab, Guest House, etc. In the year 2010, the Central University Kerala Science started its operations to be performed from the Kanhangad’s Riverside campus which is situated at Vidyanagar’s south (about 20 kilometers). The university residences the office of the Dean of computer centre, library extension centre, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and the schools of Biological Sciences, and Mathematical. Central University of Kerala has statewide authority & can set up regional centres in any area of the Kerala state. Central University of Kerala’s aim is to expand the capacity of learning via holistic method that houses different scientific, linguistic & cultural traditions. Eligibility for Application:

Applicants need to posses passed degree of 10+2 for Under Graduate Programmes in the relevant field from a renowned Board.

Contenders should have 10+2+3 qualified degree to apply for Post Graduate Course in the area of the programme as applied from a well- known university or college.

And those who are applying for Doctoral Programmes must have 10+2+3+2 degree in that particular field from a university of repute.
