BVP Engineering CET Exam Pattern 2014 Details for Paper Pattern and Marking Criteria
The Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Pune University conducts every year the All India Common Entrance Test for the admission of eligible candidates in different engineering courses including Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology courses respectively. The candidates qualifying in the exam will get admissions in the College of Engineering Pune and other affiliated colleges to the Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Pune University.

BVP CET 2014 Exam Pattern:
The exam will be conducted in English Language only. The paper will consist of objective type multiple choice questions on the following main topics:
Physics: 100 Questions
Mathematics: 100 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 200
Duration of Exam: three hours
Marking Criteria:
The candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer marked by them whereas there will be a deduction of zero marks for each wrong answer marked by them.
Eligibility for BVP CET 2014:
The candidates should be having HSLC (Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate) and SSLC (Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate) from ICSE (Indian School Certificate Examination) or any other equivalent Board for this purpose. The candidates should possess at least 50% in aggregate and must have studied the following subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, and Technical as the main subjects.

The candidates should choose either of the following cities from the specified centres of examination:
Thiruvanathapuram
New Pune
Kottayam
Indore
Mumbai
Cochin
Lucknow
Vadodara
Hyderabad
Bangalore and
Navi Mumbai respectively

Last Date to Apply: 15th May 2014
Date of Examination: 25th May 2014
Date of Result Declaration: 11th June 2014
Time of Exam: 11 am to 2:00 pm

Selection Process:
The candidates qualifying in the BVP Common Entrance Test for admission to engineering courses will be called for the Counseling scheduled to be held in the months of June- July respectively. The candidates obtaining higher merits in the entrance exam shall be allotted better colleges as compared to other candidates.
