Bihar B.Ed Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Qualifying Criteria
The Patna University conducts the common entrance test every year for admitting candidates in the Bachelor of Education course programme of the university. The entrance test is commonly called as the Bachelor of Education Entrance Test (BEET). The exam is organized every year in the months of June/ July for all the eligible candidates. Name of Exam: Bachelor of Education Entrance Test (BEET)

Course of Admission: Bachelor of Education
Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should be graduate in either of the following disciplines: Science, Arts and Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks secured in the qualifying degree exam. The candidates should have studied two subjects as chosen in the exam as the main subjects of study in the Bachelors or Masters Degree Exam. A minimum of 5% relaxation will be given to the reserved community candidates for the eligibility.

Computer Science, English, Commerce, Hindi, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Biological Science, Urdu, Physical Sciences, Persian, Home Science, Arabic, Economics, History, Geography and Political Sciences
Paper Pattern:
The candidates will be required answer objective type multiple choice questions on the following main topics:
Part A:
Section I: General English and Comprehension: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
Section II: Logical & Analytical Reasoning: 20 Questions (20 Marks)
Section III: Educational & General Awareness: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Section IV: Environment of Teaching and Learning in Schools: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Part B:
Section V: Subject Awareness (as per chosen subjects): 20 Questions (20 Marks)
Total Number of Questions: 100
Total Marks Allotted: 100

Qualifying Criteria:
The candidates appearing in the entrance exam should at least secure 45% marks to qualify in the concerned exam. The candidates can attempt as many number of questions as they feel like because there is no negative marking in the paper.
