AUEET Exam 2014 Details of Application and Eligibility Criteria

The Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) is conducted for the admission of eligible candidates in the under graduate engineering courses under the Andhra University and its affiliated colleges. The exam is organized every year in the months of May by the Andhra University. The exam for the present session is scheduled to be held on 12^th May 2014 for all the interested candidates at the specified exam centres.

Name of Exam: Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET)

Conducting University: Andhra University

Courses of Admission:

1. Bachelor of Technology (Electro Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electronics Engineering)

2. Bachelor of Engineering (Air Craft Engineering)

3. Bachelor of Technology + Masters of Technology

4. Bachelor of Technology + Masters of Business Administration

Eligibility for Exam:

The candidates should be Intermediate/ Class 12^th passed in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics with a minimum of 50% Marks respectively.

Last Date to Apply: 15^th April 2014

Date of Examination: 12^th May 2014

Exam Pattern:

There will be three parts in the paper containing 30 objective type questions from the following topics:

Part A: Mathematics

Part B: Physics and

Part C: Chemistry

Paper Pattern for Twining Programs:

There will be four parts in the paper having objective type multiple choice questions on the following:

Part A: English Grammar and Vocabulary Skills (15 Questions)

Part B: Mathematics (25 Questions)

Part C: Physics (25 Questions) and

Part D: Chemistry (25 Questions)

Selection Process:

The admissions of the candidates will be done on the basis of the ranks and merit obtained in the Andhra University Engineering Entrance Exam 2014 as per the rules of reservations specified for this purpose.

Reservation Criteria:

For Local Candidates: 85%

For Reserved Candidates:

Scheduled Caste: 15%

Scheduled Tribes: 6%

Women Candidates: 33.33% respectively
