APTRANSCO Cut off Marks 2014 Details of Qualifying Marks for Assistant Engineers (Electrical/ Telecom) Post

The Andhra Pradesh Transport Corporation (APTRANSCO) conducts every year the recruitment exam for the post of Assistant Engineers (Electrical/ Telecom). The applicants are short listed on the basis of their performances in the written exam and interviews scheduled to be conducted in the month of August/ September respectively. The applicants qualifying in the written exam as per the cut off marks and merit shall be only called for the DV (Verification of Documents) in order to get finally selected in the concerned job posts.

Normally, the cut off marks for any recruitment exam is decided on the basis of marks obtained by the applicants in the manner as given below.

Cut off Marks for APTRANSCO Recruitment Exam 2014:

1. For OC Candidates: 40%

2. For BC Candidates: 35%

3. For SC/ST Candidates: 30%

Applicants who have their rankings in merit shall be called first and then community wise candidates shall be called who lie within the range as specified here above. Those applicants who fail to clear the cut off marks as specified above in the exam shall be considered as not selected. However, merely scoring the minimum qualifying marks in the exam does not provide any right to the applicants for claiming seats in the concerned job posts.
