Annamalai University Admission 2014-15

The Annamalai University will be shortly inviting applications for admissions for the new academic year (2014-15) in the medium of English and Tamil languages. Therefore, all keen and eligible aspirants are advised to apply for admission through offline or online mode as soon as the University announces the opening and closing dates of registration. The Annamalai University offers numerous courses of study in the following list of programmes:

Application Procedure:

Interested applicants must download the Application form and official Prospectus 14-15 from the Annamalai University authorized web page (annamalaiuniversity.ac.in) or else they can request for the same from University campus by paying the appropriate application fee.

This application fee is to be paid through a DD of any bank favoring- “The Director, DDE, Annamalai University” which is to be paid at Annamalainagar, Chidambaram or Chennai. Also, the applicants must noticeably mention the course / programme name at the back of the DD for which they are willing to apply.

After getting the application form, candidates are supposed to send the duly filled and signed application form to the below mentioned address along with attested copies of all crucial documents in support of your details given on the admission form before the prescribed last dates of submission in any case:-

Eligibility Criterion:

For B.A. Courses- Aspirants should have cleared their Intermediate examination (10+2) with their relevant streams from a recognized board of education with not less than 50% of aggregate marks.

For M.A. Courses- Aspirants should possess their Graduation Degree with their relevant discipline from a recognized University/ College or equivalent with 45% aggregate scores

For Ph.D/ M.Phil Courses- Candidates must be qualified with a Post graduation with at least 55%aggregate scores in the relevant field of study.

How to apply online:

1. Log on to Annamalai University’s authorized portal – annamalaiuniversity.ac.in home page and select the link for “Admission 2014”.

2. Click on “Apply Online” on this page. Remember that this link will be available only after the announcement of official admission notice by the university.

3. Select your desired course of study and fill all your information in the appropriate fields on the application page and click on “Submit”.

4. Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport size photo and signature.

5. Cross check all the details carefully and then click on “Submit”.

6. Take a hard copy of this system generated form and send it to the aforesaid address before the given due dates.

About:

The Annamalai University was established in 1979 and has been executing subordinate service in enduring learning to all age groups across India. The Dental College, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy Departments were instigated in the year 1980. Within the duration of 36 years, as Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Rajah Sir Muthiah Chettiar raised and promoted the nonstop development and expansion of this University. However, in 1929 Annamalai University initiated with only 7 departments, the University now has 49 departments under 10 faculties. Thus it achieves the repute of being one of the few Indian Institutes with all faculties under one roof.
