AMUEEE Admissions 2014 Courses & Eligibility Details

The AMUEEE (Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam) is conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University for inviting admissions in the Engineering Programmes including Bachelors of Technology or Bachelors of Engineering courses and Bachelors of Archeology in the university. The entrance examination is announced by the university every year in the months of May/June respectively for all the candidates.

Eligibility for AMUEEE 2014:

The minimum eligibility required for the Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam is Intermediate & Higher Secondary Certificate School Examination with a minimum of 50% marks in the following main subjects- Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics from any recognized Boards of Secondary Education in India.

Or

The candidates should have a diploma in Engineering from any recognized university/ college of engineering

The Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam offers admission in the following engineering courses:

1. Computer Engineering

2. Electrical Engineering

3. Mechanical Engineering

4. Chemical Engineering

5. Civil Engineering

6. Architecture and

7. Petroleum Studies

 Date of AMU EEE: Last Week of April/ First Week of May 2014

Paper Pattern for AMU EEE:

The Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam is conducted in two parts –

Paper I: This paper is compulsory for all the applicants seeking admissions in the Engineering & Technology courses

Paper II: This paper is compulsory for all the applicants seeking admissions in the Architecture courses

Admission Procedure:

The Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam offers admission to the candidates on the basis of the merit and cut-off as decided by the university subject to the following main components:

i) Total Number of Applicants in the exam,

ii) Level of the questions asked in the exam,

iii) Total number of applicants, who qualify in the exam,

iv) Total number of seats available in the concerned university course and

v) The percentage of reservations from the total available seats
