ALS Exam Pattern 2014 CET Paper Details and Qualifying Criteria

The Amity Law School (ALS) is the common entrance test conducted by the GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) every year in the months of May/ June respectively for admitting eligible candidates in the LLB (H) courses of the Amity Law School respectively. Eligibility for Exam:

 The candidates should be intermediate/ Class 12^th passed with a minimum percentage of marks as specified for this purpose. The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in the English subject in the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class 12^th) of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) or any other equivalent Board recognized for this purpose. The qualifying ages of all the applicants should not be exceeding 21 years with effect from 1^st August of the concerned year of application.

Paper Scheme:

The Common Entrance Test shall be conducted in objective modes having multiple choice questions on the following main topics:

English Language and Comprehension (25% questions)

General Knowledge (25% questions)

Reasoning (25% questions) and

Legal Aptitude (25% questions)

About the BA LLB (Honors) Course-

The BA LLB (Honors) Course shall be of five years duration divided into semesters for each academic year. There will be 6-8 streams in the each of the semesters. The medium of teaching and study shall be in English only. The term end examinations for each semester shall be held for both the semesters conducted as follows: August- December and January- May respectively.
