AIPGMET Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme
The All India PG Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET) is the qualifying entrance exam conducted for the admission of eligible candidates in the different PG level courses as made available by the Sri Devraj URS Academy of Higher Education and Research (SDUAHER) Kolar for this purpose. The entrance exam provides admission in the following main courses- MD & MS respectively. The exam is mostly conducted by the conducting authority in the second / third weeks of January every year.

Name of Exam: All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test
Conducting Authority: Sri Devraj URS Academy of Higher Education and Research
Courses of Admission: MD (Doctorate of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery)
Eligibility for Exam:
The minimum eligibility for appearing in the AIPGMET 2014 is MBBS from any recognized medical college/ university. Apart from this, the applicants should have a valid registration from the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council or rotating internship of one year duration which is over by the 31st March of the year of admission and registration before 15th April of the concerned year for this purpose.

The AIPGMET Exam shall consist of objective type multiple choice based questions on the following main subjects:

2. Physiology (15 Questions)
3. Biochemistry (15 Questions)
4. Pharmacology (20 Questions)
5. Clinical Pathology (25 Questions)
6. Microbiology (20 Questions)
7. FMT (10 Questions)
8. Community Medicine (30 Questions)
9. Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy (07 Questions)
10. Surgery (22 Questions)
11. Otorhihinorlorngology (ENT) (07 Questions)
12. Orthopaedics (10 Questions)
13. Paediatrics (15 Questions)
14. Obstetrics & Gynaecology (20 Questions)
15. Radio Diagnosis (20 Questions)
16. Radiotherapy (04 Questions)
17. Biophysics (05 Questions)
18. Opthalmology (10 Questions)
19. Anaesthesiology (07 Questions)
20. Psychiatry (10 Questions)
21. General Medicine (25 Questions)
Total Number of Questions: 300
Duration of Exam: 3 Hours and 30 Minutes
The candidates will be given one mark for each correct answer marked by the candidates and no marks shall be given to the unattempted questions or wrong questions respectively.
