AIEEE Examination Pattern

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is the examination conducted at the National level for the admission of the candidates in the various Under Graduate Engineering and Architecture courses. Though from the last few years, the examination of AIEEE is merged with the examination of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology). Hence the examination of AIEEE is replaced by the Joint Entrance Examination in April 2013. It is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Examination).

The examination is renamed as “JEE Main” as per the rules of Human Resource and Development Ministry regulations. The specifics of AIEEE Examination (JEE Mains) are given below:

Examination Pattern (JEE Mains):

The examination of JEE Mains consists of two papers- Paper I and Paper II.

Paper I is conducted for B. E/ B. Tech and Paper II is conducted for B. Arch/ B. Planning.

The candidates can apply for both the papers.

Paper I (B. E/ B. Tech) – The subjects that are compulsory for this examination is Physics & Mathematics and the optional subjects as – Bio Technology/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

Application Form: The desiring applicants can apply by visiting the official web page of JEE Mains (jeemain.nic.in). The process of registration starts from 01st of December, 2015 which will be closed from 31st December, 2015.
