AIEEE B.Arch. Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Eligibility
The All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) announces admissions every year for all the candidates in the Bachelor of Archaeology course in the National Institute of Technology and other affiliated colleges with the concerned exam. The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for all those candidates who wish to participate in the concerned exam for taking admissions in the Bachelor of Archaeology and Bachelor of Planning courses respectively. The candidates who will be appearing in the Paper II of the AIEEE 2014 will be provided admissions in the B.Arch. and B.Planning courses. Name of Exam: All India Engineering Entrance Exams (Paper II)
Conducting Authority: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)

Exam Pattern:
The paper II of the AIEEE 2014 contains objective type multiple choice questions on the following main topics:
Part I: Mathematics
Part II: Aptitude Test
Part III: Drawing Test
Distribution of Questions:
Mathematics: 30 Questions (120 Marks)
Aptitude Test: 50 Questions (200 Marks)
Drawing Test: 2 Questions (70 Marks)
Under the Drawing Test, the candidates will be required to draw 3d drawings based on memory on a separate sheet as provided for this purpose.
Duration of Exam: 3 hours
Timing of Exam: 2:00 to 5:00 hrs.
Date of exam: 6th April 2014
Qualifying Criteria:
The candidates will be required to obtain the required cut off marks as needed for this purpose. The calculation of the percentile in the qualifying exam will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the following five subjects:
Language
Physics
Mathematics
Any one of the following subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational)
Any other subject
If the candidate has passed in all the six subjects then in that case, candidates best five marks will be taken into consideration
Those candidates who get higher ranks in the Paper II of the All India Engineering Entrance Exam 2014 shall obtain admissions in institutions other than IITs in the following order of preference:
Marks obtained in Aptitude Test Paper 2
Marks obtained in Drawing Test Paper 2
Marks obtained in the qualifying degree exam and
Ratio of positive and negative marks
Modes of Examination:
The AIEEE 2014 Paper II will be held in the paper and pencil modes only at the different centres of examination as specified for this purpose.
