AIBE Admission 2014-15

The Bar Council of India will be shortly inviting applications from law candidates who wish to appear in the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 2014. All India Bar Examination-VII is likely to be held on 29th June, 2014 this year. The official notification for the same will be available on allindiabarexam.co.in or allindiabarexamination.com in a couple of weeks. Accordingly, keen aspirants are advised to apply as soon as this registration notification is issued on these sites after reading the details provided below.

Criteria of Eligibility:

All aspirants who are willing to sit for the All India Bar Examination require being in possession of their LLB Degree as well as enrollment with any State Bar Council. Candidates, who do not accomplish these eligibility criteria, will not be allowed to appear in the AIBE.

How to Apply:

1. Log on to allindiabarexamination.com and click on the link for “Register Here” to register yourself with BCI. After successful registration, you will receive an email confirming about your system generated id and password which needs to be remembered carefully.

2. Now click on “Login” link provided on the AIBE homepage and enter your login id and password.

3. Take a printout of your Bank Challan and deposit the prescribed fee at any SBI branch after 24 hours from registration.

4. After 24 hours of payment of fee, login to your account, fill the online application form, submit it and finally take a print out of the completed form and send it to the below mentioned address along with the challan copy and other necessary credentials within the announced last date:-

Enrollment Charges:

Every applicant, whether fresh or repeat, is required to pay a non refundable enrollment fee amounting to Rs.2500/- with additional Rs.60/- as Bank Charges. This payment is to be made through any Branch of State Bank of India challan generated after 24 hours of registration. Transactions made through Cheque, Net Banking or Demand Draft etc, would not be customary nor shall any request of its refund be entertained by BCI.

About:

The purpose of The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is to scrutinize an advocate’s potential to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE will evaluate skills at a basic level, and is proposed to set a minimum yardstick for admission to the practice of law. It addresses a aspirants’ logical abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law. AIBE will be conducted in 39 cities all across India. Candidates will have 11 languages to choose for attempting the examination. After passing this exam applicants will be awarded “Certificate of Practice” by the Bar Council of India.
