Conducting Authority: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad
Courses of Admission: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy), D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy)
Paper Pattern:
The EAMCET 2014 Medical Courses is a three hour paper having objective type multiple choice questions on the following main topics:
Biology: 80 Questions
[Botany: 40 Questions; Zoology: 40 Questions]
Physics: 40 Questions and
Chemistry: 40 Questions respectively
Total Number of Questions: 160
Total Marks Allotted: 160
Marking Criteria:
The candidates will be given one mark for each correct answer marked by them while there will be a deduction of zero marks for incorrect answers marked by them.
Modes of Exam:
The candidates will be required to answer the test through the OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Sheets as provided to them for this purpose. The candidates can not appear in any other modes under the concerned entrance exam. The candidates can use only Blue/ Black Ball Point Pens for answering the questions.

Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from the concerned State Boards or any other Boards of India for being eligible to appear in the concerned exam. The candidates must have studied the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Botany etc at the qualifying exam level as the compulsory subjects.
