DRDO Examination Pattern 2016

DRDA is the short form of The Defence Research and Development Organization. The organization is charged with the Military’s research and development and the head quarter of which lies in New Delhi (India). The organization conducts SET (Scientist Eligibility Test) and CEPTAM 8 (Centre for Personnel Talent Management) to recruit eligible and qualified applicants in the various departments in the organization.

As of now, DRDO has released the notification for CEPTAM 8 2016. CEPTAM 8 is conducted every year in order to recruit applicants for the positions of Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’, Technician ‘A’ and Admin & Allied unlike SET which is conducted in order to recruit applicants for the Scientist job position.

Pattern of Examination (CEPTAM 8 – DRDO) 2016 –

There are various post codes under the CEPTAM 8. The applicants will have to appear for the Written Examination to be held in two shifts on one single day/ date. There will be two hours gap in between the two shifts. The medium of Written Examination will be Hindi or English.

The selection process in the organization will comprise of –

1) Written Examination
2) Document Verification
3) Trade/ Skill Test and
4) Personal Interview

The Syllabus of Examination will be completely based on the standards of essential qualification as required by the job post.

Scheme of Examination – The written examination for various job poss will consist of –

1) STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ –

(i) General Awareness/ General Intelligence/ Reasoning Ability/ General Science – 50 questions,
(ii) Subject Concerned – 100 questions

2) Junior Translator –

(i) General Awareness/ General Intelligence/ Reasoning & Numerical Ability – 50 questions,
(ii) Hindi and English Language – 50 questions

3) Stenographer Grade II, Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’ –

(i) General Awareness/ General Intelligence/ Reasoning & Numerical Ability – 50 questions
(ii) Hindi or English Language – 50 questions

4) Vehicle Operator ‘A’ & Assistant Halwai- cum- Cook –

(i) General Awareness/ General Reasoning/ Arithmetic/ Numerical Ability – 100 questions
(ii) General English – 25 questions
(iii) Questions related to job – 25 questions

Dates of Importance –

1) The advertisement of the CEPTAM 8 will be published in the Employment Newspaper dated – 16^th January, 2016 to 22^nd January, 2016

2) Last date to submit the application form and the application fee is 08^th February, 2016

3) Date of examination will be notified soon.
