Admission process is started at West Bengal University of Technology know it is known as Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The University offers various Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D courses but currently admission process is on for M.Tech and M.Pharma course
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technology/ Pharmacy or Master Degree in similar course of Science in final years are eligible and it must be recognized by AICTE.
Mode of Selection
Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) will be the mode of selection for applying candidates as per organized by the University
Application Fee
Unreserved category: Rs.600/-
Reserved category: Rs.300/-
Payment will be done via demand draft drawn in favour of WBUT-PGET payable at Kolkata.

Candidates willing to take admission in WBUT can apply via online mode from the official website i.e. wbut.ac.in on or before last date.

27th June, 2016 is the starting date for applying
10th July, 2016 is the ending date for applying
12th July, 2016 is the ending date for submission of hard copy of application form at office
15th July, 2016 is the date announced for downloading admit card
17th July, 2016 is the scheduled date for entrance exam

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), earlier known as the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) was founded in year 2000. WBUT has 195 colleges under its jurisdiction, with specializations in 29 domains and its horizon encompassing the entire state of West Bengal. West Bengal University of Technology provides courses in IT, Engineering, Management, Commerce, Hospitality, Biotech and Health Sciences. WBUT is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
