Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday University (MGCGV) was set up on 12^th of February, 1991 by a Social activist Nanaji Deshmukh. To create enlightened future citizenry and realize Gandhiji’s dream of rural development, MGCGV on the banks of the holy river Mandakini through a separate MP Government Act (9, 1991) on the auspicious day of Mahashivaratri at Chitrakoot, Distt. Satna (M.P.). The main objectives of the university are to provide education and dissemination of appropriate technology.

Eligibility Conditions:

Post Graduate Programmes- Candidates should be in Graduation degree in relevant discipline for PG courses from any recognized university.

Ph.D Programmes- Contender should have completed their Masters or Post Graduation from the relevant discipline under a recognized College or University.

Under Graduate Programmes- Applicant should have passed their Higher Secondary exam for admission to these programmes.

Criteria for Selection:

The university will conduct an entrance test on the basis of which candidates will get selected for Counseling and the performance and eligibility of candidates in the counseling will decide their admission.

Procedure for Application:

Interested applicants who fit in the eligibility criteria of the opted programme are advised to download the application forms from the registered website. Once the form is downloaded, contender must remit the registration fee as applicable through Demand Draft / Bank Challan. After successful issue of these payment slips, candidates need to submit the filled application form as prescribed to the postal address of university with the DD or Bank Challan along with required documents.
