About Sardar Patel University

Sardar Patel University was founded in year 1955. Sardar Patel University comprises of 26 Postgraduate Departments, a constituent college, and 87 colleges affiliated to it. There are 31 PG courses available in the affiliated colleges/institutions. The teaching programme covered at Postgraduate level under various faculties such as Management, Engineering, Science, Arts, Commerce, Pharmacy, Medicine, Homeopathy, Home Science, Law and Education includes Postgraduate Degree Courses, Diploma Courses, Postgraduate Diploma Courses and Advanced Certificate Courses. UG courses are taught in the colleges or institutes affiliated to the University.

Offered Courses

Sardar Patel University runs various UG, PG degree Courses, Diploma Courses, PG Diploma Courses and Advanced Certificate Courses for candidates applying; but currently application form is accepted for M.Ed course for academic session of 2016-2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor degree with a B. Ed. of 1 or 2 years duration from recognized university of India or  DEIED/E. Ed. with bachelors degree (B.A./B. Sc./B. Com.. etc.) or 04 years integrated teacher education degree (B.A., B. Ed./B. Sc. B. Ed.) or an equivalent degree can apply for admission to M.Ed. The candidate must have obtained at least 50% of marks at level.

Application Fee

Rs.200/- is the application fee that every applying candidate has to pay against their application form.

Payment of application fee will be done via demand draft drawn in favor of ‘The Registrar, Sardar Patel University’ payable at Vallabh Vidyanagar.

Significant Dates

16^th May, 2016 is the starting date for applying via offline mode

15^th June, 2016 is the ending date for applying via offline mode

24^th June, 2016 is the declaration date of qualifier list for admission to the M.Ed. programme

01^st July, 2016 is the scheduled counseling date
