About Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology

The University started a College of Basic Science and Humanities with the Pre-University Science class sin 1964 and in the following year the Pre-professional science class was added. The College of Agriculture Engineering and Technology came up in the year 1966. University research capability was further strengthened through implementation of the National Agriculture Research Project (NARP). The extension education programme of the University was operating in several villages of the State to help the farmers to help themselves.

Method of Selection

Every applying candidate has to undergo through the process of Entrance Examination for getting admission in Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed their 12^th standard with 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/PH) from a reputed University/Institution.

Age Block

As on 31^st Dec, 2016; candidates’ minimum age limit should be 17 years while applying for taking admission in their willing course in Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.

Application Cost

Candidates has to submit Rs.1000/- as application cost against taking admission in Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology via demand draft drawn in favour of “Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar” payable at SBI OUAT Campus Branch.
