Admission Details:

The Jadavpur University has recently announced the admissions to its Master of Library Sciences, Bachelor of Library Sciences, Bachelor of Physical Education, Diploma and Certificate Courses in Foreign Languages respectively. The candidates interested to apply in the concerned courses of the university can apply online from the universitys’ admission website i.e. admissionas.jdvu.ac.in. The candidates should read the admission notification from the Announcements section of the website before applying to the concerned degree programmes of the university.

Eligibility for Bachelor Courses of University:

The candidates should be Class 12^th passed from any recognized Boards of India. The Candidates seeking admissions in the Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences should be a Graduate in any subject with Certificate in Library and Information Science or at least experience of one year in the concerned field for this purpose. The minimum percentage of marks required for the eligibility is 60% in the qualifying degree exam.

Manner of Selection:

The selections to all the courses of the university will be based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam and the merit as decided for this purpose. The candidates will be judged on the marks of their academic qualifications in High School/ Graduation (BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com) Pass and Honors Course/ Post Graduation (MA/ M.Sc/ M.Com) Courses and Certificate in Library and Information Sciences respectively in the manner as given in the notification for this purpose.

Manner of Applications:

The candidates can fill online application forms from the website before 1^st April 2014. The applicants who are shortlisted in the concerned exams of the university will be called for Counseling scheduled to be held at the concerned university department.
